 Pulsations

A helping hand to a healthier life..........

Pulsations, an independent East Leeds voluntary Phase 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation Group have recently received a major boost from the Yorkshire Freemasons charitable arm with a donation of almost £5,000. The money will enable the group to purchase a much needed heart defibrillator, heart monitors and other equipment.

The group was founded in 1997 offering Rehabilitation Programmes with significant benefits to people with heart problems. The exercise programmes are supervised by approved Cardiac Liaison Nurses from Seacroft Hospital and are in conjunction with their affiliated partner The British Heart Foundation.

Currently having more than 50 members the group meet twice a week on a Thursday evening and Saturday morning in a local village hall which offers the convenience of being able to support members who have returned to work after their illness. Family members and carer`s are encouraged to join in with the exercise programmes and support sessions. Anyone who has suffered heart problems and think they would benefit from joining the group will be made welcome,
